Where are we?
Nestled between the picturesque seaside towns of Tayvallich and Crinan on the stunning west coast of Scotland, the cottage offers an unparalleled retreat for those seeking complete solitude, breathtaking natural beauty, and a slice of Scotland's rich cultural and literary history.
This peaceful haven lies at the heart of the magnificent Knapdale Forest, surrounded by ancient trees, wildlife, and sweeping views of the Hebrides. With no neighbours for miles, you’ll experience a serene, undisturbed stay in one of the most beautiful corners of the country.
Just across the water lies Orwell’s house on Jura, where George Orwell wrote 1984. Meanwhile, the nearby Castle Dounie is home to the Iain Banks Appreciation Society, celebrating the works of the late Scottish author.
